Handmade cushions in Morocco are known for being unique pieces, crafted using techniques passed down through generations. The famous Sabra cushions are distinguished by their wide range of faded colors, with a vintage appearance, making them perfect for decorating the living room, bedroom, or terrace.
When you have a Sabra cushion, you have an authentic and one-of-a-kind product.
The production process of these cushions begins with the agave plant, which is grown in the Sahara Desert. The artisanal process has been preserved in Morocco for centuries. Agave leaves are crushed and cleaned. Then, the fibers are separated, washed, and combed to extract the white filaments, which can later be dyed with completely natural dyes.
It’s recommended to dry clean these cushions since, being dyed with natural dyes, the colors can be affected by water.
