The leather of our bags is traditionally worked in the big cities of Morocco, such as Marrakech, Rabat and Fez. It is the most worked Moroccan handicraft in the country, understanding as Marroquinerie the “art of working in leather”.
The leather used for the bags is usually goatskin for its flexibility or cowhide for its thickness and resistance. The elaboration is 100% handmade. The tanning is done with traditional techniques, which are passed from generation to generation.
Moroccan leather is usually a little oiled, which gives a characteristic shine to the leather, making it more flexible and waterproof at the same time.
